"Buffalo Dancer" is a limited edition bronze statue cast using the lost wax method of casting. This Native American dancer tells the story of the hunt; the tracking, the sighting, the chase and the kill. Food for his family. Robes for warmth. Skins for his home. Bill enjoys portraying the twisting, turning action of the Native American Pow wow dancers. The face and body are strong but graceful. Subdued colors are added to bring out the accouterments and feathers. One of Bill’s finest pieces, the body richly glows with under-polishing. The sculpture is 19" high 16" wide 13" deep, and is mounted on an American walnut base with a rotating turn-table. The edition size is 35, and is cast in bronze utilizing the lost wax method and is priced at $7200.
"Cholla" is a limited edition bronze statue cast using the lost wax method of casting. This Native American woman is coming up from the river, after bathing. She has accidentally stepped on a cholla catus and gotten a torn in her foot that she is removing. The piece is mounted on a walnut base with a turntable. The price is $3300.
"The Eagle Catcher" is a clay model which will be a limited edition bronze statue cast using the lost wax method of casting. This Native American Indian is coming up from a pit he has dug in the ground and covered over with branches to hide himself. He then ties a rabbit to the thatch cover over the pit as he lies in wait for the eagle. When the eagle comes for the captive rabbit the Indian grabs the eagle and attempts to catch and hold him. The Native americans use the feathers of the eagle for cerimonial costuming. The piece will be mounted on a walnut base with a turntable.
